Superior Selectivity for Halogenated, Aromatic, and Polar Compounds
The Restek Raptor™ FluoroPhenyl 90 Å HPLC column series combines an advanced fluorophenyl stationary phase with Restek's proven 2.7 µm superficially porous (core-shell) particle technology to deliver exceptional chromatographic performance for complex analytical separations. Designed for both HPLC and UHPLC systems, the Raptor FluoroPhenyl provides unique selectivity through multiple complementary retention mechanisms, making it an excellent alternative to conventional C18 columns when enhanced resolution is required.
The fluorinated phenyl ligand enables a balanced combination of hydrophobic interactions, π-π interactions, dipole interactions, hydrogen bonding, and steric selectivity. These mechanisms significantly improve the separation of structurally related compounds, halogenated analytes, positional isomers, and moderately polar aromatic molecules that are often difficult to resolve using traditional reversed-phase stationary phases.
Built on Restek's high-efficiency core-shell particle platform, the Raptor FluoroPhenyl 90 Å delivers excellent peak symmetry, high efficiency, reduced analysis times, and outstanding reproducibility while maintaining moderate operating backpressure.
