The Restek Raptor™ C18 90 Å HPLC column series combines a high-purity C18 (octadecylsilane) stationary phase with Restek's proven 2.7 µm superficially porous (core-shell) particle technology to deliver exceptional chromatographic efficiency, outstanding peak symmetry, and robust reproducibility. Designed for both conventional HPLC and UHPLC systems, the Raptor C18 provides a versatile solution for routine quality control, pharmaceutical analysis, environmental testing, food safety, and LC-MS/MS applications.
As the most widely used reversed-phase chemistry, the Raptor C18 offers balanced hydrophobic retention and excellent selectivity for a broad range of acidic, basic, neutral, and moderately hydrophobic compounds. The combination of a fully bonded, endcapped stationary phase and advanced core-shell particles enables high-resolution separations, shorter analysis times, and lower operating backpressure compared to fully porous sub-2 µm columns.
