Restek Rtx-Wax GC Column
For polar GC separations, stationary phase inertness often determines whether active compounds produce sharp, symmetrical peaks or suffer from adsorption and tailing. Rtx-Wax combines an exceptionally inert Crossbond polyethylene glycol phase with excellent chromatographic efficiency, providing reliable separations across a broad volatility range. From aldehydes and glycols to flavor compounds and FAMEs, its balanced selectivity and low-bleed performance make it a dependable choice for routine and demanding polar applications alike.
  • Premium polyethylene glycol (PEG) stationary phase optimized for alkenols, aldehydes, glycols, FAMEs, flavor compounds, solvents, and BTEX aromatics.
  • Exceptional inertness minimizes adsorption of polar analytes, producing sharp, well-resolved peaks and outstanding chromatographic efficiency, particularly for challenging aldehydes and oxygenated compounds.
  • Extended operating temperature range supports compounds with widely differing volatilities while maintaining excellent thermal stability and very low bleed up to 250 °C.
  • Selectivity closely matches traditional Carbowax® phases, providing a straightforward replacement while offering improved robustness and analytical performance.
  • Equivalent to USP G14, G15, G16, G20 and G39 phases.
