- Graphite ferrules — ideal for glass-to-metal connections - doesn't stick to glas. Preferred for capillary GC use
- Graphite/Vespel® ferrules — made from quality DuPont polyimide/graphite blend, recommended for GC/MS interface applications.
- Vespel® ferrules — excellent sealing material when making metal or glass connections, fairly hard - tends to seal permanently to the column.
- PTFE ferrules — offers superior chemical resistance but is limited in pressure and temperature capabilities, used in low pressure applications.
