Rt-TCEP GC Columns

Rt-TCEP is an extremely polar GC column developed for the separation of aromatics, oxygenates, and alcohols in gasoline. Its unique stationary phase provides an elution pattern that cannot be achieved with conventional high-polarity siloxane columns, making it particularly valuable for petroleum analyses where reliable identification of oxygenated compounds is essential. Combining the selectivity of traditional TCEP packed columns with the efficiency of capillary GC technology, Rt-TCEP delivers excellent chromatographic resolution while offering enhanced stationary phase stability and extended column lifetime.

Extremely polar stationary phase specifically designed for the separation of aromatics, oxygenates, and alcohols in gasoline.
Provides a benzene retention index greater than 1100, allowing benzene to elute after C11 and toluene after C12 for improved identification of gasoline components.
Combines the selectivity of TCEP packed columns with the efficiency and resolution of a capillary column, producing separation patterns unattainable with conventional high-polarity siloxane phases.
Ideal for petroleum oxygenate analyses, offering chromatographic behavior comparable to TCEP precolumns used in ASTM D4815.
Nonbonded stationary phase is coated on a specially prepared surface that enhances polymer stability and extends column lifetime.
Conditioning is generally required only when operating near the maximum recommended temperature.
Note: Because the stationary phase is nonbonded, solvent rinsing should be avoided.
