The Restek MXT-Alumina BOND/MAPD is specifically engineered for the analysis of petrochemical process streams and downstream products, where reliable determination of trace acetylene, methyl acetylene (propyne), and propadiene (MAPD) is critical. Its optimized alumina deactivation technology delivers exceptional inertness, superior reproducibility, and outstanding sample capacity, enabling accurate trace-level measurements while minimizing peak tailing. Manufactured on Siltek®-treated stainless steel tubing, the column combines excellent mechanical durability with the robust performance required for continuous refinery and process GC applications.

Specifically designed for the analysis of petrochemicals and downstream products, including ethylene, propylene, butylenes, and butadiene.
Optimized deactivation technology delivers maximum response for trace concentrations of acetylene, methyl acetylene (propyne), and propadiene (MAPD).
Highly inert alumina stationary phase provides excellent reproducibility for demanding process GC applications.
High sample capacity minimizes peak tailing, resulting in improved separation and more accurate quantification of target compounds.
Extended operating temperature up to 250 °C enables rapid elution of high molecular weight hydrocarbons (up to dodecane) and accelerates column regeneration following exposure to moisture.
Manufactured from Siltek®-treated stainless steel tubing, providing exceptional mechanical durability for continuous industrial operation.
Also available as Rt-Alumina BOND/MAPD columns in fused silica for laboratories requiring conventional capillary column formats.
