The Restek MXT-2887 is an application-specific GC column engineered exclusively for simulated distillation according to ASTM D2887. Combining the durability of Siltek®-treated stainless steel tubing with a highly stable Crossbond® 100% dimethyl polysiloxane stationary phase, it delivers accurate boiling point distributions, excellent chromatographic efficiency, and exceptionally stable baselines. Each column is individually performance-tested to ensure consistent retention times, low bleed, and reliable method compliance for routine SimDist analyses.

Specifically developed for simulated distillation (SimDist) applications in accordance with ASTM D2887.
Stationary phase, column dimensions, and film thickness are optimized to exceed the resolution and skewing factor requirements specified by ASTM D2887.
Crossbond® 100% dimethyl polysiloxane stationary phase provides excellent thermal stability, low bleed, and reproducible boiling point determinations.
Individually tested to guarantee stable baselines, reproducible retention times, and consistent chromatographic performance.
Crossbond® technology offers greater stability and shorter conditioning times compared with conventional packed columns.
Manufactured from Siltek®-treated stainless steel tubing, providing exceptional mechanical durability for demanding high-temperature applications.
