Agilent AdvanceBio Oligonucleotide columns provide an ion-pair reversed-phase (IP-RP) chromatography platform for the analytical characterization and purification of oligonucleotides. The stationary phase is designed for the separation of trityl-off, deprotected oligonucleotides and closely related impurities. High-pH and elevated-temperature stability allow separations under denaturing conditions to improve resolution and peak shape.

AdvanceBio Oligonucleotide columns use high-efficiency 2.7 µm and 4 µm superficially porous Poroshell particles with a 120 Å pore size. The silica particles are chemically modified for resistance to high-pH mobile phases and bonded with an end-capped C18 stationary phase that provides selectivity for oligonucleotide separations.

The same particle chemistry is available across different column dimensions, providing a scalable IP-RP platform from analytical separations to preparative purification. Column configurations extend up to 21.2 mm ID preparative columns. The 2.7 µm Poroshell particles are suitable for HPLC and UHPLC systems, while 4 µm Poroshell particles are also available for preparative applications.
