UCT's Silica-Based Metal Scavengers for removing residual catalysts and metal impurities
UCT Metal Scavengers are functionalized, silica based sorbents for removing residual catalysts and metal impurities from reaction mixtures, APIs and analytical samples. UCT offers a complete set of silica-based metal scavengers, each engineered with a specific ligand, metal preference, and coordination behavior. Built on high-purity silica with controlled loading and pore architecture, these chemistries provide fast, selective, and scalable removal of catalytic metals across a wide range of reaction types and solvent systems.
The range includes Thiol, Thiourea, Triamine, Diamine (PSA), DMT and Triacetic Acid phases for metals such as palladium, copper, nickel, ruthenium, rhodium, silver, mercury and zinc.
The scalable workflow supports pharmaceutical synthesis, fine and specialty chemicals, medicinal chemistry and HPLC purification, helping improve product purity, protect analytical instruments and meet elemental impurity limits.
