HALO Fused-Core Columns by Advanced Materials Technology (AMT)

HALO Fused-Core particles are superficially porous particles characterized by a narrow particle size distribution and controlled pore structures. Available particle sizes include 2 µm, 2.7 µm, 3.4 µm and 5 µm, with pore sizes of 90 Å, 120 Å, 160 Å, 400 Å & 1000 Å. These configurations provide different separation characteristics for analytical applications on conventional HPLC and UHPLC systems.

The HALO portfolio includes HALO Small Molecule, HALO ENVIROCLASS and HALO BIOCLASS columns. Each product family offers stationary-phase selectivities and particle configurations tailored to specific analyte classes and chromatographic requirements.

HALO Small Molecule columns are designed for rapid chromatographic separation of small organic compounds, ranging from simple mixtures to complex samples containing hundreds of analytes. The columns use an optimized 90 Å pore structure and offer different bonded-phase selectivities for method development and routine analysis.

HALO ENVIROCLASS columns provide application-specific stationary phases for the analysis of environmentally relevant contaminants. The product family includes chromatographic solutions for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), as well as other environmental contaminants, like pesticides, mycotoxins and herbicides.

HALO BIOCLASS columns are developed for high-resolution chromatographic characterization of biomolecules used in biopharmaceutical research and development. The stationary-phase chemistries and wide pore structures up to 1000 Å are optimized for the separation of proteins, monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), peptides, oligonucleotides and glycans.
