Constant Bore (CB) Nano-ESI Emitters for Reliable, High-Throughput LC-MS Workflows

Trajan CB Emitters are precision-engineered nano-electrospray ionization emitters designed to improve the reliability, sensitivity, and reproducibility of nanoLC-MS analyses. The abbreviation CB stands for Constant Bore, referring to the emitter’s uniform internal diameter that extends all the way to the tip.

Unlike conventional pulled emitters, which feature a progressively narrowing internal diameter, Trajan CB Emitters maintain a straight and consistent bore throughout the entire emitter. This design reduces internal restrictions and potential sites for particle accumulation, significantly lowering the risk of emitter clogging.

By reducing blockages, interruptions, and repeat measurements, Trajan CB Emitters help proteomics and LC-MS laboratories increase instrument uptime, protect valuable samples, and maintain efficient analytical workflows.
