Stabilwax GC Columns

Polyethylene Glycol (PEG)

Stabilwax columns are designed for reliable analysis of polar compounds requiring excellent thermal stability and consistent chromatographic performance. The bonded polyethylene glycol stationary phase withstands repeated temperature programming up to 260 °C while maintaining stable retention characteristics and low bleed. In addition, the bonded phase can be regenerated by solvent rinsing, extending column lifetime and reducing maintenance costs across routine analytical applications.

Bonded polyethylene glycol (PEG) stationary phase provides excellent thermal stability and long column lifetime, even under repeated high-temperature operating conditions.
Stable retention characteristics minimize retention time shifts commonly observed with conventional wax-type columns, ensuring consistent analytical results.
Solvent-rinsable bonded phase allows column regeneration, helping restore performance and extend usable column lifetime.
Suitable for a wide range of applications including FAMEs, flavor compounds, essential oils, solvents, aromatics (including xylene isomers), oxygenated compounds, acrolein/acrylonitrile (EPA 603), chemical purity testing, and alcoholic beverage analysis.
Low-bleed PEG chemistry provides reliable chromatography for both routine and demanding polar compound analyses.
Equivalent to USP G14, G15, G16, G20, and G39 phases.
