The Restek MXT-BAC1 is specifically developed for rapid blood alcohol analysis, delivering baseline resolution of blood alcohol compounds in less than 3 minutes under isothermal conditions. By eliminating oven temperature cycling, it increases laboratory throughput while maintaining reliable chromatographic performance. Beyond blood alcohol testing, the MXT-BAC1 is also well suited for the analysis of abused inhalant anesthetics, γ-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), γ-butyrolactone (GBL), glycols, and common industrial solvents.
