Agilent AdvanceBio RP-mAb Columns
Agilent AdvanceBio RP-mAb columns are reversed-phase columns developed for the analysis of intact and reduced monoclonal antibodies (mAbs). They are designed for therapeutic protein characterization in biopharmaceutical discovery, development and QA/QC applications, including the evaluation of changes and microheterogeneity associated with monoclonal antibodies.
AdvanceBio RP-mAb columns are based on Agilent Poroshell technology and use 3.5 µm superficially porous particles with a 450 Å pore size. The wide-pore particles are designed for large biomolecules and provide high-resolution separations with shorter analysis times compared with fully porous particles of the same size. The columns can also be applied in LC/MS methods for chromatographic separation and accurate mass determination of intact mAbs.
Three different bonded-phase chemistries are available: SB-C8, C4 and Diphenyl. These stationary phases provide different selectivities for method development and the characterization of therapeutic proteins, including monoclonal antibodies and antibody drug conjugates (ADCs).
