Rt-Alumina BOND/CFC PLOT GC Columns

Rt-Alumina BOND/CFC is a highly selective alumina PLOT column engineered for the separation of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and other volatile halogenated compounds. Its specially deactivated alumina adsorbent combines excellent inertness with exceptional retention, allowing accurate quantification of CFCs while maintaining high chromatographic efficiency and symmetrical peak shapes. Built on Restek's robust bonded PLOT technology, the column also offers outstanding mechanical stability, predictable flow characteristics, and reproducible performance for routine process monitoring as well as trace-level impurity analysis.

Specifically optimized for multi-halogenated alkanes and C1–C5 chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), delivering excellent selectivity for volatile halogenated compounds.
Highly deactivated alumina stationary phase minimizes surface reactivity, significantly improving chromatographic response for most CFC compounds and enabling accurate quantitative analyses.
Excellent retention and loading capacity provide symmetrical peak shapes for both high-concentration process streams and low-level impurity determinations.
Separates a broad range of CFC isomers at above-ambient temperatures, eliminating the need for subambient cooling in many applications.
