The Universal Guard System (UGS) is a versatile guard column solution designed to protect valuable HPLC columns from particulate contamination and strongly retained compounds to increase the life time and to prevent clogging of your column. Different Universal Guard System versions are available depending on the column diameter, particle size and application.
UHPLC Universal Guard System
The UHPLC Universal Guard System (UGS) is manufactured for the purpose of protecting UHPLC (up to 800bar) columns with inner diameter between 1.0 and 2.1mm with particle sizes from 1.5µm and 3µm.
Analytical Universal Guard System
The Analytical Universal Guard System (UGS) is manufactured for the purpose of protecting analytical columns with a inner diameter between 3.0 and 6.0mm and with particle sizes between 2.5μm and 10μm.
Preparative Universal Guard System
The Preparative Universal Guard System (UGS) is manufactured for the purpose of protecting preparative columns with a inner diameter between 7.8 and 21.2mm and with particle sizes between 5μm and 10μm.
